The Tournament

Burnt Orange Bowl is a precursor tournament to the intramural flag football season which will determine whose ready for the upcoming season. The tournament will consist of a two day 32 team bracket testing players and teams athletic ability, strength, and endurance in order to claim placement prizes and the championship title. Hosted by the Texas Wranglers and Alpha Chi Omega, all proceeds from Burnt Orange Bowl 2008 fully benefit SafePlace, an Austin shelter for women, men, and children who are victims of abuse and domestic violence. Though designed to raise awareness and funds for SafePlace, Burnt Orange Bowl 2008 will be your teams chance to size up the competition and earn prizes. It is an extremely challenging opportunity which will involve hundreds of university students.

* 1st Place is guaranteed cash and prizes valued at a minimum of $700.
* 2nd Place is guaranteed cash and prizes valued at a minimum of $300.
