"Texas Wranglers affords students an opportunity to make lifelong friends from all walks of life; to become a student leader through community involvement; to broaden one's network throughout the student body; and to gain the strength of character, mind, and body to overcome any adversity.
The Wranglers do not limit their membership by race, creed, or financial ability; rather, we strive to bring out the best in anyone who accepts the challenge to become a Texas Wrangler."
Before we are Wranglers, we are students. Defined by a culture of academic success, many of our members and leaders excel in challenging majors and honors programs.
Leadership is the most cherished attribute of the Texas Wranglers. Members take initiative as leaders in the community and work to empower those around them to fulfill their utmost potential.
Athletic ability is about having the right mindset. Wranglers are united in their passion for playing sports, improving their fitness, and most importantly taking on a challenge.
James Kirk (left; S'15) spent the summer of 2016 studying abroad in Shenzhen, China and interning at 7 Senses. While there, James helped code for the Facial Recognition of Solbit, a robot aimed at helping children with disabilities in educational settings. James chose to accept a full-time, paid role at 7 Senses and has been on the grind ever since. We're very proud of you, James, and don't let up over there!
